About

I am a Los Angeles-based artist and illustrator. My surreal, figurative representations of feminine figures give powerful life to states of evolution and change. These narratives often utilize the mythological archetypes and associations represented by animals to convey the inner textures of my subjects. This stylization has also served her in bottling the aspects that give pop figures their static vitality.

My practice is done in a traditional analog style, blending surreal imagery with influences of pop culture and Minimalism. I use figurative and animal representations, along with nods to both decoration and mythology to reflect both the absurdity and melancholia involved as I try to capture, preserve, and interpret life, death and creation.

My illustrations are reflections of my deep appreciation for a well-told and well-imagined story.
